Dear Mom,

This week has been pretty good. To answer some of your questions the flight was about 2 1/2 hours it wasnt to bad. i did take pictures but i will have to get something to be able to get them on the computer and i havent gotten it yet i will have to call the mission home and talk to them. Try not to sent anything that i could buy up here because it is really expensive for me to get things from canadian customs. Like it will probaly cost me a good 40 dollars maybe even more to get my blanket. but anyways We are in the Taber South area both me and my companion are new to this area so we are both just getting to know people. Most of what we have been doing right now is just trying to find people. We have one progressing investigator his name is B he wants to be Baptized and we want to set a date for him in the next couple of weeks. He is a very funny kid and has been going to church for the past 6 months. we have visited with him every day sence i have been out here and he really likes us and so does his mom. we all joke around on how he and his mom say eh and oh for sure a lot. it is pretty funny. Our first sunday here we went to our 3 wards that we are over the Barnwell 1st and 2nd and the Taber 1st wards everyone is really nice to us missionaries we get fed every night. On saturday we went to a member baptism for these twin brother and sister whos family had us over for dinner the night before. We invited b so he could see what one was like but he was unable to make it. We have set up some meetings with all the ward mission leaders so that they can give us the scoop on all the people that need to be taught and stuff. our p days on on modays but we cant email till tuesday because where we email is being used by members for family history stuff so we get 2 hours on tuesday to email. The weather here is alright it has been really hot reciently. They have a saying here if you dont like the weather wait 5 minutes it will change. It is so true tho it will be raining and 5 minutes later it will be perfectly clear and hot. It is pretty crazy there is tons of farm land they mostly do hay canola and sweet corn. apparently the taber sweet corn is the best corn you will ever have according to the locals. we havent got to try it yet because it isnt ready till august so soon we will be able to try it. The cardston temple is about an hour away from our area but we dont getta go to it for a while because it is closed for a while i dont know exactly what for but anyways im haveing a really good time and i will write you next week. I love you and have fun back in utah
                 Love Elder Mackey.
