Fifteen Minutes!?

Everything here has been good. we have been doing a lot of tracting and street contacting. I am in an area which is the name of the community and ward. It is in the south west . we are still in the city but kinda on the edge. it is so weird being in a city i dont like it compared to the small towns. my new companion is pretty good  he has been out for 3 months and he doesnt talk a lot im trying to get him to talk more. The ward is really really small im suprised its not a branch. But the work is really slow right now we are trying to pick it up. We gave out book of mormons to all the young men and women and challenged them to hand them out in the coming week so hopefully that works out. I had to talk in church on sunday the bishop asked me 15 minutes before chruch started. i talked a little on ammon and how he baptised thousands and then i read dads story that he sent me so good thing i had that with me. well i really dont have much more to talk about hopefully i will next week. i hope that everyone is doing good. i love you

his past week has been alright I was kinda sad that I got transferred and missed the baptism. but it went well I am told and its awesome even though I wasn't there to do it. it is still very awesome. I am in the Calgary and its pretty big it makes me realize how much I don't like living in a huge city. I don't mind visiting them but I don't know if I would be able to live in one for long term. But hey maybe it takes a little time getting used to. Time will only tell. This area is kind of slow most of the time it is just tracting and street contacting which is pretty fun. I like walking up to people and just talking to them its pretty fun. Tracting on the other hand isn't as fun but its not terrible. We usually just get people telling us they aren't interested and then shutting the door. Only a few times have they gotten mad and slammed the door on us for no good reason. But oh well their loss. New years was different than it has been in the years past. We didn't stay up late for it because we have to be up early and all that stuff. We went last transfer to the cardston temple and I finally got to see they new temple video it was awesome! so it has been really cold this past few weeks it has been about -25 to -30 Celsius which is pretty cold. I got stuff from sister hanberg which was really nice of her to send. I now get mail once a week instead of once a month so start sending letters I like letters they are nice to get. Well I hope that everyone is doing good I love you and stay awesome!

Elder Bednar

So this past week has been good still a little crazy with having 2 companions and being in a new area and all that good stuff i will probaly be in this three leg companionship till the end of the transfer which is on january 1st. The baptism  is still on for the 4th she is doing really good with everything we meet with her again on wednesday. I haven't been able to go out to barnwell that often this past week because we have been in the other guys area which is the lakeview and parkside YSA wards in lethbridge. going from serving in a family ward (which i am still over) to a YSA ward .

             So we got to hear from Elder David A. Bednar!! He came to Calgary for a stake conference but then he wanted to talk to us missionaries. It was so awesome he has now jumped up a few spots to number 3 on my favorite apostles 1 and 2 are President Monson and 2 is President Uchdorf hopefully i spelt that right haha its a hard name to spell. But when elder Bednar came we had a little confrence thing we didnt get to go up to Calgary to see him but it was broadcast to all of us in the areas south of the mission. He is a really awesome guy he talked to us for 3 hours answered all of the questions we had for him it was amazing. He is such an awesome guy he is really inspiring and sweet! 

              That is pretty much what has gone down with me. i hope that everyone is doing good with everything i love you

Good Yet Cold

  I have had a good yet cold week haha it has snowed a lot this past week. Yesterday it snowed so much that we couldn't drive anywhere and we were already in taber and we got stuck out in taber which isn't to far from Barnwell but we couldn't get back to our apartment so we had to stay in Taber with the other missionaries. we pretty much had an all day p day yesterday because at 6 when p day ends we got calls from the assistants saying we have to be in our apartments for the rest of the night for our safety from the storm. so we had to go to the other elders apartment and we built an awesome snow cave thing

          We are still working with the same investigators nothing to new with them We met with b again. We are visiting with Sthis week and hopefully that will go  her of course. She is ready to be baptized .  :)  The work is going good we are working with a lot of less active members and we are staying really busy with everything that we do it is really good. i hope that everyone is doing good with everything i am doing great i love you.

Awesome News!

 This week has been pretty good we are staying way busy. So i have some awesome news and then other news that makes that news not so awesome! Elder David A. Bednar is coming to Calgary for a stake conference and is talking to all the missionaries in a little thing. And the missionaries in the Calgary Zones get to meet him and awesome stuff like that! Now for the other news that makes that news not as awesome. The missionaries in the other zones dont get to meet him and just get to watch a broadcast of him talking so that sucks because i am not in any of the calgary zones and i want to meet him so its really disappointing i think. But oh well we still get to see it broadcast to us.

            Well anyways there isnt anything to new with our investigators other than we picked up a new investigator and we had a really good lesson with him and asked him to be baptized and he said yes so that is really exciting and we meet with him again tomorrow and we will try and set a baptismal date with him. so that is really exciting. 

           It is getting pretty cold but i have all my winter stuff so that is all good the coat i bought is amazing it is so warm! well i hope that everyone is doing good and all of that stuff and that everyone is staying warm cuz i bet it is getting cold there too.
